Free San Diego Solar Experience Seminars Begin Saturday, Feb. 10

Homeowners and owners of residential rental properties can learn about the cost- and energy-savings of power from the sun during the San Diego Solar Experience, a series of seminars on Saturdays during 2018 beginning February 10.

On Feb. 10, events will be held at Muirlands Middle School in La Jolla, Westwood Elementary School in Rancho Bernardo, the Salvation Army Kroc Center in Rolando Park and Sullivan Solar Power in Miramar. The Miramar location will feature a solar fair from 2 to 5:30 p.m. with exhibits, games, music and electric vehicle test drives. Seminars at the other locations will from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. and include tours of local homes with solar installations from 12 to 1 p.m.

Solar Experience presentations cover the latest advancements in solar power and home energy storage, including information on costs, incentives and financing options presented by experts from the Center for Sustainable Energy, Climate Action Campaign and Sullivan Solar Power
