NAR Green Designation Requirements
To obtain and use NAR’s Green Designation, these requirements must be fulfilled:
- Complete the NAR Green Day 1 & 2 courses
- Submit the NAR Green Designation application with proof of course completion and your REALTOR® membership
- Maintain active and good membership status with the Green Resource Council and the National Association of REALTORS®
About the Instructor
John Shipman is Senior Director of Southern California and Real Estate Services for Build It Green. A member of the National Association of REALTORS® and the California Association of REALTORS®, he is a Green Designation Trainer, California General Building Contractor, BPI-certified Trainer-Super Proctor and Energy-Efficient Mortgage (EEM) Trainer. John holds a bachelor’s degree in education from UCLA.
