Join the next Leaders 2020 Bites and Bigwigs lunch with the Director of Supply Chain at Taylor Guitars, Charlie Redden, to discuss the music industry’s efforts to combat deforestation on Friday, September 22 at 12:00 p.m. at the Center for Sustainable Energy.
Charlie Redden is the Director of Supply Chain at Taylor Guitars, a leading manufacturer of acoustic and electric guitars. Redden leads the company’s efforts in purchasing, distribution, environmental compliance, logistics, inventory control, and supply chain oversight. Redden’s pragmatic, on-the-ground approach to working in partnership with land owners, forestry stewards, and environmental organizations has made Taylor Guitars a leader in responsible forestry management and social reinvestment in many
areas of the world from which the company procures wood. Additionally, Redden is responsible for continuity of materials and finished goods throughout the company’s locations, including its main manufacturing complexes in El Cajon, California, and Tecate, Mexico, as well as its European distribution center in the Netherlands.
