Los Angeles Coalition for the Economy & Jobs
Michael Kelly is the executive director of the Los Angeles Coalition for the Economy & Jobs, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring a path for economic growth and the creation and retention of quality jobs in the greater Los Angeles region.
Mr. Kelly has held a number of high-level positions in the private sector and with state government. He recently served as the manager of California government relations for the Boeing Company and was previously deputy director of the California Film Commission and an aide to then Governor Gray Davis. In 1999, he was appointed the governor’s deputy cabinet secretary for cabinet affairs, working as a liaison between the governor’s office and assigned governmental agencies and departments.
He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and a master’s in public administration from the University of Southern California
