Siobhan Foley is our Director of Education and Outreach. She provides strategic leadership to all facets of the center’s education, outreach, marketing and public relations efforts.
Prior to joining CCSE, Siobhan directed public relations initiatives for Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF), an entrepreneurial nonprofit based in Portland, Ore. dedicated to clean energy development and watershed restoration. Siobhan also managed marketing and community outreach for BEF’s renewable energy education program, Solar 4R Schools, working with the team to launch a new online community and double outreach to more than 100 schools nationwide.
Previously, Siobhan led marketing and public relations for the Travelocity business unit focused on last-minute travel packages—driving double-digit traffic and sales growth year over year across multiple sales channels including Travelocity, Yahoo! Travel and Site59, the last-minute travel start-up acquired by Travelocity that Siobhan helped launch in 2000. Siobhan received a Travelocity Enterprise Award in 2002.
Siobhan’s previous experience includes managing marketing and public relations for the Off-Broadway, nonprofit LAByrinth Theater Company, an award-winning multidisciplinary ensemble of more than 100 theatre artists, and serving as Merchandise Editor for Academic & Scholarly and Used & Out-of-Print books at Barnesandnoble.com.
Siobhan holds a BA from Columbia University and is earning a dual graduate management degree (MPA/MBA) in sustainability at the Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco. |
