Cuyamaca College will be offering a free 50 hour CALCTP Training in 2011
What is CALCTP?
The California Advanced Lighting Controls Training Program (CALCTP) is a statewide
initiative aimed at increasing the use of advanced lighting controls in commercial
buildings and industrial facilities. Certification of advanced lighting issued by a
CALCTP- certified electrician to the building owner prior to their certificate of occupancy
enables the owner to apply for additionalrebates.
Three repeat sessions in 2011!
Session 1: March 22nd-May 3rd (Tues/Thurs 4-8pm)
Session 2: June 14th-July 26th (Tues/Thurs 4-8pm)
Session 3: Aug 23rd-Oct 4th (Tues/Thurs 4-8pm)
Prerequisites:
- State certified general electrician
- Completion of four free online courses is required prior to enrollment.
CALL FOR ORIENTATION DATES:
Students must attend an orientation prior to class.
