Solar Thermal Train-the-Trainer Course

The California Center for Sustainable Energy ( CCSE) and the Department of Energy ( DOE) are partnering to help expand the capacity to provide Solar Thermal training at community colleges and high schools to meet student demand and help provide skilled workers for the growing solar industry.

CCSE will be conducting free Train-the-Trainer courses throughout the state to increase the number of qualified Solar Thermal instructors.  Our next Train-the-Trainer will be taking place at Rio Hondo College in Whittier, CA on June 7, 8, 9 and 10.   Attendees will receive a $200 stipend to cover time and travel costs. We will be accepting applications to attend the training from local community colleges and other public school faculty.
