Careers in the Wind Industry

If you're interested in working in wind energy, or learning more about the industry, the WINDPOWER "Careers in Wind" Summit is the place to start. The Summit will take place during WINDPOWER 2011, on Sunday, May 22, at the Anaheim Marriott in Anaheim, CA. It will consist of two concurrent activities: Educational Seminars, and Job Fair & Exhibition.

The Educational Seminars are two separate two–hour educational sessions (10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm) that will highlight the wind industry's growth, education pathways, employment opportunities, and the future of wind jobs. They will also offer the experiences and expertise of industry insiders, educators, trainers, employers and recruiters, and set the stage for a productive conversation about career opportunities in the wind industry. After each Seminar, participate in an engaging and informative Question & Answer session.

The Job Fair & Exhibition will allow you access to hiring managers, recruiters, and representatives from some of the industry's most influential companies and schools. You'll be able to ask questions, share your objectives and resume, and schedule interviews.
