Home Incentives Programs California Solar Initiative About CSI CSI Expected Performance Based Buydown (EPBB)

CSI Expected Performance Based Buydown (EPBB)

Expected Performance Base Buydown (EPBB) incentives will be a one-time incentive ($/W) based on a system's estimated future performance. EPBB incentives are available to systems less than 30kW in size and required for systems less than 10 kW. EPBB incentives will be based on the CEC-AC system rating and a design factor that will consider factors such as location, orientation and shading.

For information on current rebate rates in your territory visit: Trigger Tracker.  EPBB current incentives for the San Diego area by Step and customer class are shown in the table below.

Notable & Quotable

“With proper air in the tires and driving conservatively, just by driving at regular speeds and not over accelerating, you can save 10% on your gasoline consumption…The issue of energy is key in this election. Demand a policy from each candidate, compare those policies and then vote for the candidate that will help bring the fuel prices down.”

– David O’Reilly
