To apply for a CSI incentive online, visit: csi.powerclerk.com. For further explanation on required documentation, refer to the iconCalifornia Solar Initiative Handbook.

CCSE offers a CSI Application Process Workshop. We will teach you how to process solar applications with our online tool PowerClerk. To register for the workshop go to our calendar. The CSI application process webinar can also be viewed online here.

NOTE: As of October 7, 2011, the EPBB Incentive Calculator (www.csi-epbb.com) is integrated into the PowerClerk online application tool (csi.powerclerk.com). Applicants are no longer required to submit the EPBB Tool Calculation printout as part of the application. However, the EPBB Incentive Calculator website remains available for anyone who wishes to use it for system sizing and incentive calculations.

NOTE: All systems 10 kW and smaller are prohibited from receiving Performance Based Incentive (PBI) payments and instead must receive an up-front Expected Performance-Based Buydown (EPBB) payment.

  1. Executed PDP Contract

NOTE: All EPBB systems over 10 kW are required to retain a Performance Monitoring and Reporting Service (PMRS) and report 15-minute interval kWh production data to the Program Administrators on a quarterly basis for five years. See the list of eligible PMRS Providers.
