CSI now accepts paperless applications

Applying for a California Solar Initiative ( CSI) rebate for a household or commercial photovoltaic ( PV) system became a little easier and a lot faster with the ability to now submit application attachments online via CSI’s PowerClerk website.

Applicants can upload required documents as PDF files, avoiding the need to waste paper, time and money mailing in documentation. The online feature streamlines the application process, and customers can expect quicker application turnaround times, according to Ben Airth, CSI Program Manager at CCSE.

“This is yet another step toward a making the application process more efficient and consistent for consumers and solar contractors,” Airth said.
