Installing a solar PV system in the City of San Diego? Among the things that make installations easier is a better understanding of the permitting process and net energy metering ( NEM) requirements. Join solar energy experts from the city and SDG&E at this workshop on pulling permits and completing the NEM application.
Local solar contractors and self-installers can learn the ins and outs of two of the most important steps of a solar photovoltaic ( PV) system installation at this workshop: Permitting in the City of San Diego & SDG&E’s Net Energy Metering ( NEM) program.
Solar energy experts from the city will discuss information on pulling a building permit for a solar installation, including requirements, timelines, inspections and more. You also have the opportunity to meet with the city's plan reviewer and senior electrical inspector.
During the workshop, Ken Parks, SDG&E's net energy metering project manager, will provide important information on the proper way to complete a NEM application, the most common mistakes and processes to help expedite the solar installation process.
Plan to join us for this eye-opening opportunity to meet with representatives of two of the local solar sector's most important agencies.
These classes are free of charge, and space is limited.
