The California Energy Commission (CEC) will provide incentives to new residential solar projects through its New Solar Homes Partnership. The CSI has been allocated $203.5M for incentives in the San Diego region which is administered through CCSE.

The Clean Power Estimator will provide you with an accurate assessment of your PV system’s out-of-pocket expenses, expected annual production, and much more, using individual selections on your location, finances, and available incentives.

Use the Better Business Bureau to search for solar contractors, distributors, and manufacturers in your area that you may consider doing business with.
10   Link   California Contractors State License Board
Check the status of a solar contractor in the state of California. Eligible contractors will have an active A, B, C-10, or C-46 license.
11   Link   CSI Expected Performance Based Buy-down Calculator
The CSI EPBB calculator will calculate your expected program rebate by entering in specific information about your solar PV system.
12   Link   CSI’s PowerClerk Database
PowerClerk is the California Solar Initiative’s online database tracking system. All eligible program applicant’s are encouraged to use PowerClerk to submit, track, and complete rebate applications.
13   Link   CSI’s Trigger Tracker
Trigger tracker displays the remaining MWs that have been allocated for each step in the program, and updates them in real-time to give the most accurate report.

Check whether a specific PV module is eligible for CSI program rebates and what its associated performance rating is.
