Please visit the Clean Vehicle Rebate Project for 2010 To review the final program outlay table please visit the Fueling Alternatives Past Program section Fueling Alternatives was funded by the California Air Resources Board ( CARB), offered throughout the State of California and administered by the California Center for Sustainable Energy ( CCSE). A total of $1.8 million was appropriated and directed toward vehicle incentive rebates to promote the use and production of alternative fuel vehicles. Rebates of up to $5,000 were available for consumers who purchase or lease new eligible alternative fuel vehicles between May 24, 2007 and April 30, 2009 or until funding runs out*.
* These rebate amounts only apply to vehicles with sealed, maintenance-free batteries and extended warranties as described in Section 3.2.2 of the program guidelines. |
