Air Permitting

Certain Distributed Generation technologies are exempt from district air permits. These technologies include photovoltaics (solar) as well as certified fuel cells and microturbines. Contact the California Air Resources Board for more information on DG Certification, exempt technologies and emissions guidelines.

San Diego County Air Pollution Control District - provides Air Pollution Control information and permitting application for San Diego County.
