Online resources for technologies & PACE programs
Why would you grow plants on your roof? What are these new clean energy loans Mayor Jerry Sanders is talking about? The answers to these questions and more can now be found on the CCSE website.
In our continuing efforts to update and educate the community about energy-efficient technologies and developments in local sustainable energy policies, CCSE has added two new online resources.
A series of technical overviews on green energy measures you can incorporate into your home or business are on our technical assistance Web page. Each downloadable fact sheet describes the technology, explains its applications, outlines the energy and cost savings and provides useful links to further information. Topics range from CFL and LED lighting to green roofs and HVAC systems. Visit Technical Overviews.
We have also added a section to our website about property assessed clean energy ( PACE) programs, also commonly referred to as AB 811-style programs. PACE programs allow municipalities to offer sustainable energy project loans to eligible property owners. There is a landing page that gives an overview of PACE and CCSE’s role, a page of frequently asked questions (FAQs) and contact information. New information about PACE will be added as the local programs are developed. Visit PACE Programs.
