California Center for Sustainable Energy

I am proud of the procession of activities, presentations and interactions during Sustainable Energy Week that brought together residents and business owners with energy experts, suppliers and installers to explore the issues and benefits of moving toward a clean energy future. There were tours of high-performance commercial buildings, a day-long Clean Energy Conference and a fun-filled Family Energy Day that included our popular Street Smart San Diego.

The week was exciting, exhilarating and somewhat exhausting, but when it was over, it was clear that San Diego is filling a key leadership role in the development and adoption of renewable energy and sustainable practices.

I would like to personally thank those who attended and participated in Sustainable Energy Week, especially CCSE’s dedicated staff members and, of course, our many supporters and sponsors. We couldn’t have done it without all of you. Thank you for making this week so rewarding!
