Solar Water Heating Pilot Program Contractor and Self-Installer Orientation | |||||||
Discover what your carbon footprint is and why it matters. In this workshop, Clay Hinkle of CH2M HILL will demonstrate various approaches to establishing a carbon footprint and what the right approach is for your organization. You will also learn how to take a greenhouse gas inventory. |
There are many ways to optimize an HVAC system. Scot Duncan, PE with ROI Engineering will present control strategies as well as case studies for optimization of HVAC systems that work in the real world. |
Attendance at a Contractor and Self-Installer Orientation and Training meeting is a prerequisite for participation in the Program. Topics for the workshop include an introduction to the Program and a presentation on SRCC guidelines and program installation requirements. |
The California Center for Sustainable Energy ( CCSE) is hosting a day-long program on renewable energy opportunities in collaboration with the United Kingdom (UK) Trade and Investment group. This education session for homeowners will provide information on the different solar water heating technologies. Information will also be provided on the new Solar Water Heating Pilot Program. Homeowners can receive up to $1500 in incentives for the installation of a qualifying solar water heater. |

Clay Hinkle of CH2M HILL will show you how to identify specific methods and technologies that will drive down your organization's greenhouse gas emissions. He will also discuss goal setting, direct and indirect emissions, and prioritization. |
