Green Tip
DID YOU KNOW? Typical fireplaces are energy losers pulling heated air out of the house and up the chimney. When using your fireplace, turn the furnace off or down to 55 degrees. When not in use, make sure the damper is closed, and if you are not going to use it, block the chimney off with a piece of rigid insulation for a tighter seal. For the best fireplace efficiency, consider a fireplace insert or wood stove that fits into the hearth and controls airflow.
CCSE is Moving
