The Sustainable Energy Week (September 8th until 16th) featured events like Family Energy Day with high-dollar prize drawings, test drives of the pre-market plug-in cars of the future, games and solar powered mini-car rides for kids, organic food, live entertainment, workshops offering home energy solutions and clean generation vendor displays. Plus, the free event gave the public an opportunity to meet celebrity race car driver and environmental advocate, Carbon Free Girl, Leilani Münter. A few news TV clips:
