It's a great time time to learn about being energy independent
Solar Energy Week 2009 puts solar power in the San Diego spotlight by bringing together residents and business owners with solar experts, suppliers and installers to explore the benefits of using sunlight for electricity and water heating. This week of events offers a day-long solar conference, tours of solar homes and commercial installations and a fun Family Solar Day.
October is also California Solar Energy Month 2009, with the theme of Get Involved and Go Solar, and national Energy Awareness Month, with the theme of A Sustainable Energy Future; Putting All the Pieces Together. Both events encourage everyone to see how they fit into the big picture in relation to energy usage, efficiency and conservation.
Mark your calendars and join CCSE for these fun and educational events.
