Hundreds of San Diegans joined CCSE in celebrating a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle at our second annual Sustainability Fair, Aug. 6 and 9, 2009. The fair was held on two days, so that one event, on a weekday, could focus on business and commercial participants, while a second day, on a Sunday, was for residential consumers.

Learn how to live a greener, more eco-friendly lifestyle at CCSE’s 2nd annual Sustainability Fair, a free, two-day event set for Thursday, Aug. 6, and Sunday, Aug. 9.

Looking at recent newspapers and TV reports, it’s gratifying that CCSE is credited as one of three reasons why San Diego is now California’s number one solar city. We didn’t say it, but the Environmental California Research & Policy Center did in their report “California’s Solar Cities: Leading the Way to a Clean Energy Future.”

Companies buy plenty of cups, plates and other disposable kitchenware and food packaging, no matter if they are a restaurant or simply a business or organization that obtains them for employees or special events. At CCSE, we use eco-friendly supplies because we respect the environment and encourage everyone to do so as well.

One of the nation’s leaders in commercial energy solutions, EnerNOC, Inc., will be among the exhibitors at Sustainability Fair 2009 on August 6 for the commercial expo. EnerNOC, which stands for Energy Network Operations Center, is well-known for helping businesses, institutions and utilities use energy more wisely while paying less for it.
