Check out a truly unique electric vehicle, the TRIAC, that will be among the many EVs on display at Family Energy Day and Street Smart San Diego. The three-wheel, two-passenger TRIAC will be available to the public soon from Green Vehicles Inc.
Green Vehicles is a Northern California-based company that will begin selling two lithium-ion battery powered electric vehicles in October 2010. The TRIAC is a five-speed, freeway drivable three-wheeler with a powerful 20 kW AC motor capable of 80 MPH. On a single charge, at a speed of 45 MPH, it can drive for 100 miles.
TRIAC comes standard with one of the world’s most sophisticated battery maintenance systems to ensure full potential out of each high-quality battery. Additionally, it has an onboard charger that can be plugged into 120-volt or 240-volt outlets, giving owners faster charging and the convenience to plug in anywhere.
