Kristin Rock is the Energy Manager for PETCO Animal Supplies Stores Inc, headquartered in San Diego.

She is charged with identifying and implementing energy cost-saving measures, including both supply-side and demand-side reductions.  In addition to managing energy for PETCO’s 1000+ locations, Kristin also leads the company’s cross-functional Sustainability Team. She has been with PETCO for a year.

Prior to joining PETCO Kristin was an Energy Manager for Summit Energy Services Inc, in Louisville, KY. In this capacity she provided energy strategy development and execution for a number of national, multi-site, Fortune 1000 commercial/retail organizations.

When she’s not looking for creative ways to reduce PETCO’s energy consumption and carbon footprint, Kristin loves taking her 3 dogs to the park or the beach.
