Beth Brummitt is the principal of Brummitt Energy Associates, Inc, a consulting firm located in San Diego, California, specializing in energy modeling for high performance buildings.

A Certified Energy Analyst, a Certified Energy Manager, a USGBC- LEED Accredited Professional since 2002, and with twenty years of experience in energy efficiency and building modeling, Brummitt has been speaking, training, and writing articles for a variety of groups on energy efficiency, the Title 24 energy code, and
green buildings for many years.

Brummitt was the founding Chair of the San Diego Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). She has served as Chair of other organizations, as well, including the California Association of Building Energy Consultants (CABEC), the San Diego Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers ( AEE), and is a graduate of LEAD San Diego. She holds a B.A. from Stanford University.

Her firm, Brummitt Energy Associates, Inc. helps people achieve comfortable, highly energy efficient, cost-effective projects by integrating the building design with daylighting, electric lighting, and mechanical systems. Consulting from early design through construction documentation, the firm specializes in energy and daylight modeling, increasing financial incentives, and documentation for Title 24, LEED, CHPS, and a range of utility and tax incentives. They have assisted more than 120 projects in their pursuit and achievement of LEED buildings, from Certified through Platinum. Projects range from 3,300 sf Del Sur Ranch House which has achieved LEED Platinum, to 500,000 sf Qualcomm Building W office tower which has achieved LEED Gold.
