Andrew Tanner is the Vice President Engineering for Chromasun Inc. Andrew’s experience in concentrating Solar Thermal includes the construction of Australia’s largest solar installation in the Hunter Valley, Australia, as well as the engineering of Germany’s largest Solar Thermal array in Jülich, Germany.
In 2008, Andrew relocated to Silicon Valley to co-found Chromasun with the intent of miniaturizing CSP technology into a product that can be deployed on the rooftops in the urban environment. He is currently developing numerous projects in California that apply concentrating solar for process heating and solar cooling applications. Chromasun also has a hybrid PV-Thermal variant of the micro-concentrator in development that will be deployed for solar trigeneration (electricity, heating and cooling).
Andrew will be speaking at the CCSE Clean Energy Conference on the session: " Solar Thermal: New CSI Programs and Solar Heating and Cooling Innovations"
