Installed in CCSE’s Learning Centers, these motorized window shades protect against the direct sun, reducing solar gain by dissipating excess heat and cooling naturally. In the winter, the shades can be adjusted to capture solar heat gain, store it in thermal mass and retain it through insulation.

These collector panels are coated with a dark, heat-absorbent surface that soaks up the sun's rays and heats the fluid in the collector panel.
This device securely covers non-IC lights to make insulation installation easier and more effective.
The earth absorbs approximately 50 percent of all the energy provided by the sun, resulting in an abundant amount of free on-site energy for heating and cooling buildings. This energy also causes the earth’s temperature a few meters below the ground surface to remain constant throughout the seasons.
