Humidification Display

This atomizing humidification system uses compressed air to spray very fine particles of water into the air, causing the water to vaporize.

Humidifiers increase the humidity of air by releasing tiny water droplets by various methods, such as by boiling the water, using an impeller to fling droplets into the air, or using ultrasonic sound to vaporize the water. The atomizing humidifier uses compressed air and a special nozzle to spray the water in a fine mist that vaporizes into the air.

This humidification system only requires one fifth of the energy that steam humidification uses. Humidity control is important in museums, hospitals, clean rooms, and industries such as wood-working and paper textiles.

Notable & Quotable

"Don't get me wrong: I love nuclear energy! It's just that I prefer fusion to fission. And it just so happens that there's an enormous fusion reactor safely banked a few million miles from us. It delivers more than we could ever use in just about 8 minutes. And it's wireless! ."
