Solahart Thermosiphon Roof-Mounted Systems

These collector panels are coated with a dark, heat-absorbent surface that soaks up the sun's rays and heats the fluid in the collector panel. As the fluid heats, it rises to the top of the collector panel and into the tank where it displaces cooler fluid that flows into the bottom of the collector panel where the process is repeated. The display shows the inside of the system with a cutaway of the tank, the heat exchanger space, the backup heater element and a sacrificial anode with tank insulation.
