Through various programs, CCSE offers technical assistance and generous financial incentives to encourage the adoption of renewable technologies. CCSE provides the support and information needed to help homeowners, businesses, governments and nonprofits go solar with renewable energy technologies. CCSE manages and participates in a variety of ratepayer funded state incentive and education programs that provide a way for clean, green emerging and established technologies to expand their reach. Among the programs CCSE administers are the California Solar Initiative, Self Generation Incentive Program and Solar Water Heating Pilot Program. Today’s landscape of utility tariffs, incentive programs, tax credits and renewable energy technologies can be confusing and intimidating. As a company experienced in navigating the process of identifying areas for change and presenting forward-thinking solutions, CCSE offers services to help customers implement energy efficiency and clean energy strategies. In addition to technical expertise, our policy team directly engages with California lawmakers to understand the existing statutes, as well as potential changes pending in the legislature. Finally, our policy team routinely engages with state policy makers to help drive positive changes within our existing portfolio of incentive programs. CCSE’s involvement in energy incentives, education and consulting expertise includes the following renewable technologies: CCSE also sponsors the annual Solar Energy Week in San Diego each October. Community groups and businesses join with CCSE to host the educational and outreach events that spread awareness of solar alternatives and display solar technologies. The week typically includes a San Diego solar homes tour, a one-day solar energy conference, a commercial facilities solar tour and a family solar day at a local park, as well as workshops and seminars. |
