Sustainable Landscape Contracting & Irrigation - Tips From a Pro

CA Licensed Landscape Contractor and ISA Certified Arborist Steve Jacobs, presents this workshop to help do-it-yourselfers and small businesses improve and update their irrigation and drainage skills for healthier, more sustainable landscapes. Topics will include information about sensors, timers, the latest low flow and drip systems, and tips for retrofitting or complete overhauls.  He will also discuss when and how to hire a licensed landscape contractor, and what you need to know about regulations, liability and municipal ordinances.

For over 25 years Steve Jacobs' company Nature Designs Landscaping has been designing, installing and maintaining beautiful, water conscious landscapes all over San Diego County.  Steve earned his landscape contractors license from the State of California in 1988, and expanded it to include pool and spa installation in 2006. He joined the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) in 1993 to keep up with the changes in the industry, and served as president of the local chapter in 2001. Steve is the
California State Director of Education for 2010/2011.  His credentials are impressive and CCSE is pleased to bring him to ATAC.
