San Diego Gas & Electric’s Technology Incentives Program offers technology incentives to nonresidential customers to cover up to 75% of the purchase and installation costs of Auto-DR equipment.
Currently, SDG&E only offers a customized Technology Incentives Program. Eligible customers can receive up to $200 of approved, installed and verified kilowatt (kW) reduction from a load shed test up to 75 percent of the total project cost.
Incentive Payment: Participants receive 60 percent of the total program incentive after successful on-site verification of equipment installation and testing.
Performance Payment: After 12 months, facilities are eligible to receive up to 40 percent of their remaining program incentive based on performance during DR events in the first year.
DEMAND RESPONSE (DR) PROGRAMS
To qualify for technology incentives, Auto-DR customers agree to enroll in an eligible SDG&E Demand Response (DR) Program and to participate in DR events called by SDG&E for at least 36 months.
CRITICAL PEAK PRICING (CPP-D)
CAPACITY BIDDING PROGRAM (CBP)
Provides customers with an opportunity to manage their electric costs by either reducing load during high cost pricing periods or shifting load from high cost pricing periods to lower cost pricing periods
Program participants receive a monthly incentive based on a predetermined load reduction amount made 15 days prior to the beginning of each month
