The EV Consumer Survey reflects data from consumers who: purchased or leased their vehicles from September 2012 through May 2015, received a rebate and responded to the voluntary EV Consumer Survey. This infographic includes a summary of consumers living within California’s disadvantaged communities, as defined by the CalEnviroScreen, and their vehicles, primary motivations for PEV acquisition, workplace charging, and household demographics.

Response Regarding the Strategic Growth Council’s (SGC) Lessons Learned Workshops

CSE supports the efforts underway by the SGC through the AHSC Program, and appreciates the public engagement undertaken through the AHSC workshops. In this response, CSE attests to the importance of installing clean energy technologies as a tactic to support carbon emissions reductions in the AHSC program, a method to pursue the SGC’s sustainability objectives, and as a tool to support the continued alignment of the AHSC program with California’s deep GHG emissions reduction goals.

Clean Vehicle Rebate Project Final Report 2014-2015

California’s Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP), administered by CSE for the California Air Resources Board, provides rebates for purchasers and lessees of plug-in electric and fuel cell vehicles throughout the state. The CVRP distributed $114,641,650 in fiscal year (FY) 2014–2015 rebate funds to owners and lessees of 53,145 eligible vehicles in California. From project inception in 2010 through the end of FY 2014–2015 funding, CVRP issued or reserved nearly 123,000 rebates totaling over $260 million. This report summarizes the funding, implementation and outcomes of CVRP during FY 2014–2015.

The Massachusetts Offers Rebates for Electric Vehicles (MOR- EV) program Year Two Final Report

From the program launch date, June 18, 2014, through June 30, 2016, the program reserved rebates for 2,242 new ZEVs, totaling $4,990,750. Figure 1 displays rebates by vehicle type for each program year as well as the cumulative program total.
