By 2025, California's electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure will need to be expanded 15 times its current capacity to support projected EV adoption. Businesses and multitenant property owners are facing growing demand for EV charging, and resources are available to help.

This presentation will cover the current and future California EV market and discuss charging business models, favorable financing and special utility rates in the PG&E service area. Ample time will be provided for questions and group discussion.

Who Should Attend?

CEFAC events are designed for representatives of financial institutions; contractors working on residential, multifamily and commercial energy projects of all sizes; real estate professionals; academics; and local government staff who have an interest in advancing the clean energy marketplace and are looking at financing as a solution to barriers impeding energy project participation.

A Collaborative Partnership

The council is facilitated by the Center for Sustainable Energy through a partnership with Energy Upgrade California® and the Department of Energy SunShot Initiative. Additional support is provided by the Los Angeles Regional Collaborative for Climate Action and Sustainability, San Joaquin Valley Clean Energy Organization, emPower Central Coast and San Francisco Department of the Environment.
