Facilitating rapid adoption of electric vehicles and charging equipment
CSE is accelerating the market expansion of plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) throughout California by working with cities, utilities, businesses and other regional stakeholders to develop and disseminate best practices for PEV integration and adoption.
The program's goal is to develop a general resource website for PEV industry stakeholders to provide PEV industry updates. The regional plans focus on five core areas: updating building codes for electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), streamlining the permitting and inspection process for EVSE, zoning and parking for PEVs, training and education for municipal staff and electrical contractors, and outreach and education to local residents and businesses.
Whether you’re a homeowner, business owner, electrical contractor, a city staff member or just interested in PEVs, Plug-In & Get Ready is your one-stop shop for answers about community readiness and planning for PEVs, charging infrastructure and EVSE.
