Program Statistics

CSE has paid more than $100 million for over 57 megawatts (MW) of distributed generation capacity for technologies including wind, pressure reduction turbines, internal combustion engines, microturbines, gas turbines, advanced energy storage, fuel cells, and solar photovoltaics. Solar photovoltaic systems were eligible for SGIP incentives from 2001 to 2006, before the California Solar Initiative (CSI) program was established in 2007.

The data visualized below derives from a public export of SGIP projects in all Program Administrator territories: SDG&E, PG&E, SCE and SoCal Gas. Rebate information is displayed by rebate application dates, and not when technologies were installed.
