Experience Electric - The Better Ride Campaign

 

CSE spearheaded the Experience Electric promotional campaign in partnership with government and nonprofit organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area to raise awareness of the many benefits of and incentives for driving electric vehicles.

 #TheBetterRide provided opportunities for the public to test drive and experience plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) in an effort to change their driving behaviors. CSE used this opportunity to promote the Bay Area’s uniqueness as a center for green technology development and adoption.

In the Bay Area, transportation is the single largest source of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Experience Electric worked to help alleviate this situation and achieve cleaner air by motivating drivers to purchase PEVs.

The first of its kind – the campaign won the Clean Air Award for Public Awareness from Breathe California of the Bay Area and the California Transportation Foundation’s Transportation Award for Public Outreach Program.
5,000+ EV test drives
Experience Electric provided 5,000 electric vehicle test drives at events throughout the nine San Francisco Bay Area counties.
