Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Dealership Outreach

· Lead dealership education efforts through virtual outreach, in-person visits and coordination of training sessions.

· Identify key accounts and build/maintain relationships with dealerships in assigned territory.

· Salesforce account management.

o Enter all dealership event data into Salesforce including but not limited to phone calls, emails, and in-person visits.

· Represent CSE and their programs while creating engagement opportunities with dealerships and at approved dealership community events.

· Coordinate needs for dealership virtual outreach, site visits and trainings, and event participation.

· Support training Outreach Coordinators in dealership engagement.

· Oversee inventory of all outreach materials, monitor supplies (re-ordering and repairing as needed), and organization of those items (quality assurance).

Dealership Outreach Follow Up

· Ensure effective follow up with contacts made at dealerships and events.

· Create communications that reinforce key outreach messaging and encourages dealership contacts and other stakeholders to take action.

· Address frequently asked questions, dealership issues, and/or provide other information that was brought up at specific dealerships and events.

· Track dealership outreach metrics (i.e. volume of collateral distributed, number of quality conversations had) for internal/external reporting purposes.

Partnership Development

· Participate in the development of new, regional partnerships that will assist in meeting program goals.

· Assist in maintaining relationships with dealerships and partners, ensuring they have materials they need to disseminate to their respective audience/customers.

· Assist in creating content for the statewide dealership newsletter email.


Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Manages scope, schedule, and budget for one or more clean transportation projects. May also serve in a supporting role on additional projects.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Define project scopes, budgets, goals and objectives according to Statements of Work
  • Provide logistical and administrative oversight for clean vehicles programs, and enforce program requirements, application procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure quality control by tapping into technical knowledge and stakeholder familiarity to ensure deliverables and resources align with both established technical standards and project requirements.
  • Monitor daily activities to ensure that procedures are working to achieve program goals and to support efficient processes
  • Review project plans as necessary throughout the course of the fiscal year
  • Create project reports and presentations to both internal and external clients
  • Recommend budget revisions and/or changes to project activities that keep expenses within budget and staff utilization rates on target.
  • Represent CSE programs and CSE at external events as necessary.

Relationship Management

  • Interact with EV market stakeholders including, but not limited to, fleet owners and operators, dealerships, auto makers, and government entities
  • Coordinate directly with clients on project expectations and deliverables.

Project Support

  • Provide overall operational support within CSE’s Transportation Department, including program implementation, stakeholder engagement, marketing and outreach, and business development.

This position can be remote.

The Senior Director is responsible for the overall strategic direction, work execution and financial performance of CSE’s Distributed Energy Resources (DER) department and programs. This role works closely with the Director of DER Programs, Principal Engineer and other senior leaders to ensure adequate resourcing of program teams and to foster a healthy and productive work culture with high levels of retention and job satisfaction. Additionally, this role works closely with CSE’s Account Management and Business Development team to identify and pursue strategic partnerships and business development opportunities that advance CSE’s mission to decarbonize. The Senior Director will work with CSE leadership to further the organization’s thought leadership on critical decarbonization issues, and position CSE as a trusted partner and expert program implementer at the national level. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a team of 30+ highly motivated sustainability professionals and will be able to draw upon their professional network and deep knowledge of DER markets to drive CSE’s mission to decarbonize.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for CSE’s DER department that is consistent with CSE’s mission and core values, and positions CSE for success in the evolving DER landscape.
  • Manage department budget and regularly monitor financial performance and staff utilization.  Communicate significant budget variances to executive management.  Recommend budget revisions and/or changes to department activities that keep expenses within budget and staff utilization rates on target.
  • Work with the Director of DER Programs to ensure adequate resourcing and successful execution of CSE’s portfolio of DER demonstration/validation and incentive programs.
  • Work with the Principal Engineer to ensure effective delivery of engineering services as a matrix resource across CSE’s programs.
  • Direct business development activities including identifying appropriate funding opportunities, building relationships with existing and new partners, and responding to proposals. Apply knowledge of the DER market and lessons learned through program implementation to support development of innovative program designs, scopes of work, and budgets in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Identify and pursue opportunities for proactive business development with key clients.  
  • Cultivate a team culture that results in high levels of cohesion, employee satisfaction, retention, and ensures career progression.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership on the role of DERs in the decarbonization effort through a variety of outlets, including CSE’s blog, speaking engagements and regulatory comments.

The Business Analyst works on the Product Management & Platform Development team. They help define and implement software solutions to support requirements and increase efficiency in consumer incentive programs. Becoming deeply knowledgeable of Salesforce CRM is key but the position is not limited to business analysis of only this system. Other technology and tools involved in the day to day analysis include Web Development, Box Integration, Tableau Reporting, Security tools, etc. Communication is a key success criterion for this role – being a good listener, asking key questions, speaking in a concise, clear manner with the ability to illicit details from stakeholders who do not have a technology background.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:


  • Own and support system development projects, including integration between project websites, rebate databases, and cloud-based document storage
  • Gather and translate business needs into detailed software requirements and technical specifications.
  • Oversee system specification development, including creating and reviewing flowcharts and process diagrams.
  • Participate in and/or manage projects using traditional waterfall methodology or agile Kanban/sprints
  • Develop waterfall SDLC documentation such as - Business Requirements Documents, Functional Requirements Documents, Acceptance/Regression Test plans, User Acceptance Test Plans and Deployment plans
  • Develop Agile documentation such as – User stories, Detailed Requirements, Acceptance Criteria, Agile test documentation

The UX Interaction Designer is a member of the Product Management & Platform Development Team and is responsible for implementing a best in class user experience and visual design for CSE’s custom client solutions. This role is a proactive, hands-on role that collaborates with program/project managers, business analysts and front end/backend developers to build wireframes and mock-ups and is an integral member of the Team.  

SOLID KNOWLEDGE OF AXURE IS REQUIRED! If you don’t have the ability to code interactions into your wireframes in AXURE (ie. Prototype), Please do not Apply!

Essential Functions and responsibilities:

  • 3-5 years experience as a UX Interaction Designer or in a similar role
  • Work with end users, Project Managers, Business Analysts and Developers to define functionality and translate specifications into mock-ups and wireframes
  • Conduct user research to identify user personas and understand problems/needs
  • Suggest user stories and requirements that need to be considered for implementation
  • Design solutions to create smooth user flows and user interactions.
  • Convey vision and concepts through both low and high fidelity wireframes, flows, storyboards and mockups
  • Create best in class websites in terms of ease of use, look and feel
  • Own the entire design process across varied development methodologies (ie. Waterfall, Agile, Scrum)
  • Test website and applications to ensure adherence to design specifications prior to release.
  • Conduct usability testing and validation via one-on-one interactions or focus groups.

Essential knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Fluency in design tools such as Axure, Invision, Balsamiq, Photoshop and Illustrator, etc.
  • Have a keen eye for aesthetics and enjoy making beautiful web pages with a strong understanding of composition, balance, symmetry and white space
