Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

BUSINESS ANALYSIS: Support system development and integration projects. Gather and translate business rules and requirements into technical requirements. Develop and prepare system specifications, including creating flowcharts and process diagrams. Guide testing and troubleshooting for new system feature, including documenting system bugs, errors and solutions. Guide the implementation and rollout of new system features. Help develop training and provide support for new system features. Provide guidance to stakeholders on devising effective and efficient approaches to achieve project objectives. Perform research to gather necessary information, compile statistics, and prepare an analysis of data.

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT: Support process improvement activities. Participate in strategic planning for transportation and/or other project system operations. Analyze operational models for effectiveness and suggest ways to improve.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing complex Salesforce solutions
• Analyze needs and architect solutions using traditional and/or agile development methodologies
• Design solutions that leverage Salesforce best practices and introduce new technologies when necessary
• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform
• Develop comprehensive configuration designs and architectural documentation to support the successful implementation of projects
• Identify and recommend salesforce.com based solutions, integration points and related implementation architecture for business usage improvements, scalability and performance
• Integrate Salesforce with other applications using web services and API’s
• Engage in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
• Identify any application/code security issues and recommend solutions to resolve them
• Integrate and test systems using automation and non-automation methods
• Strong foundation in version control, configuration management, deployment methodologies and release management
• Provide mentoring and technical leadership to other team members

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proven knowledge and expertise with Apex, Lightening Framework, the Salesforce clouds, and API based integrations is required. Should also have experience with Salesforce involving integrated CMS (ie. Drupal) and document storage (ie. Box) solutions. Must have excellent written/verbal communication skills, attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Required Qualifications:
3+ years of Apex, Visualforce and Salesforce application design and development experience • 2+ years of Lighting Framework development experience • Solid knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Programming techniques. • Expertise in Apex development - must be knowledgeable in Trigger Frameworks, TDTM, and governor limits. • Must be authorized to work in the US

Education and/or experience:
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience

•    Process tax return transcripts within an IRS based system and other computer systems
•    Process invoices in a timely manner that stretch across multiple projects and project managers
•    Follow detailed, standard practices and operating procedures to process check batches and invoices for accuracy and completeness
•    Make quick, consistent decisions following detailed program terms and conditions to determine appropriate responses and actions
•    Provide technical support to applicants via email
•    Explain complex project requirements to applicants in writing
•    Use good judgment when communicating with applicants about non-public personal information 
•    Use template-based and customized emails to communicate professionally and accurately with applicants
•    Handle highly-sensitive documents that contain non-public personal information, following mandatory security processes
•    Prepare and mail rebate checks to rebate applicants
•    Work effectively with fellow team members to complete invoice tasks, transcript processing tasks and assisting others when opportunities arise
•    Identify issues which may require deviation from standard practices and work with team leads to implement solutions
•    Communicate with the team leads and operations managers to provide status updates, report concerns, and suggest solutions and improvements
•    Organize, scan, file, and store hardcopy rebate applications
•    Digitize existing hard copy applications

Job Summary

Oversees day-to-day operations of the California Clean Vehicle Rebate Project.  Oversees quality assurance/quality control of all consumer incentive application processing, related reporting, and financial controls.  Coordinates with public agency staff to problem solve and assess areas for improvement within the projects.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an understanding of, and comply with, all contractual terms and conditions of assigned projects.
  • Track and manage project expenditures to ensure project activities are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure accurate, timely billing of project activities.
  • Execute all operations-related project/contract deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Monitor daily activities and processes to ensure that procedures are working to achieve program goals and maximize efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain project expertise in order to provide direction to project staff regarding special cases.
  • Review program processes periodically and recommends changes as necessary.
  • Supervise and coach employees regarding customer relations, application troubleshooting, quality assurance/quality control, and all other activities related to consumer incentive application processing. Create professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Manage multiple subcontracting contracts related to program operations as well as all external communications with public agencies related to project operations.
  • Manage program budget and regularly monitor actual expenses versus budgeted amounts.  Communicate significant budget variances to executive management.  Recommend budget revisions and/or changes to program activities that keep expenses within budget and staff utilization rates on target.
  • Manage across project teams and functions as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Represents CSE and programs such as the Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP) at community events. Responsible for educating and engaging target audiences about the benefits offered through CSE’s programs.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Event Outreach

  • Represent CSE and their programs while creating engagement opportunities at all approved community events.
  • Coordinate needs for event participation, including negotiating booth location and cost with event organizers, contract management, logistics (transporting collateral to/from event locations, and setting up/tearing down displays), and any other needs that may be required.
  • Oversee inventory of all outreach materials, monitor supplies (re-ordering and repairing as needed), and organization of those items (quality assurance).
  • Research and recommend opportunities and events to participate in (requiring developing an understanding of the landscape of assigned areas to identify where efforts should be focused).
  • Uphold CSE and program branding standards with regards to physical presentation, program knowledge and materials to be used at events.
  • Recommend and create new outreach tools, handouts and materials as needed to adapt to local markets.

Event Outreach Follow Up

  • Ensure effective follow up with contacts made at events.
  • Assist in the creation of email templates to be sent to event attendees whose email addresses were collected.
  • Create communications that reinforce key outreach messaging and encourages event attendees to take action.
  • Increase website traffic and create extended outreach opportunities as a result of the proper event follow up communications.
  • Address frequently asked questions, local issues, and/or provide other information that was brought up at specific events. 
  • Track event outreach metrics (i.e. event attendance, volume of collateral distributed, number of quality conversations had) for internal/external reporting purposes.


Partnership Development

  • Develop and expand regional partnerships to broaden program reach.
  • Attend networking events in order to establish new partnerships with relevant organizations.
  • Gauge potential partners’ access to target audiences and receptivity to collaboration.
  • Develop quarterly partnership outreach plans to maximize efficiency and meet program goals.
  • Determine appropriate points of contact at each potential partner and establish strong communication in-person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Maintain relationships with partners, seeking innovative means of engaging relevant audiences.
  • Record detailed accounts of communication with potential partners on Salesforce and keep all relevant teams within CSE updated.
  • Assess the efficacy of partnership outreach efforts regularly and adjust strategy and priorities as needed.

Social Media Assistance

  • Create social media posts while participating at events that are consistent with CSE social media standards.
  • Recommend additional social media strategies to promote and enhance event awareness and activity while on site.
  • Support digital marketing team in posting social media content on our channels monthly.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Car Dealership Outreach Assistance

  • Support the Dealership Outreach Team with dealership education efforts through in-person visits during peak Dealership Outreach season.
  • Salesforce account management

Administrative Support

  • Submit receipts for all work-related expenses in a timely matter.
  • Submit a record of all hours and work completed.
  • Communicate roadblocks and opportunities to the manager during weekly meetings.
