This position is an integral part of the CSE’s Transparency and Insights (T&I) team, which supports the organization’s policy development, program implementation, and marketing and outreach activities. T&I is a dynamic group of nearly 30 researchers, data scientists, and program managers that work across all CSE’s major program areas: clean vehicles, electric vehicle infrastructure, distributed energy resources. The Junior Research Analyst will contribute to CSE’s analytical capacity, particularly in the areas of data visualization and public reporting.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Working independently with the guidance of senior members of the T&I team, responsibilities may include the following.

Data Visualization and Reporting

Support development and maintenance of static and interactive data visualizations, which can range from tables and charts to web-based dashboards, maps, predictive models, and reporting tools.
Access data and facilitate reporting from existing databases.
Use and maintain standards of practice documentation, complete projects, and ensure consistent quality across our visual analytic deliverables.
Contribute to written reports and proposals describing data visualization approaches.

The Senior Research Analyst is an integral part of the CSE’s Transparency and Insights (T&I) team, which supports the organization’s analysis, evaluation, and implementation of decarbonization programs. The Senior Research Analyst contributes to CSE’s program analytics and evaluation functions. In this capacity they act as an enabler of EV market transformation by distilling evidence-based insights from complex data. They support, collaborate, and act as a proxy for the Senior Principal Advisor on research, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement and they will make deep contributions to research and the building of practices and services to make data transparent and insightful.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Collaboratively designs and executes research incorporating data from multiple sources including program applications, survey-data, partner-data, and publicly accessible databases and reports among others.
Designs, programs, and tests data collection instruments, including interview/focus group protocols and surveys.
Conducts interviews/focus groups with program participants or other stakeholders and organizes data for analysis.
Performs statistical analyses, including descriptive and inferential statistics.

Salesforce Developer, III

Salary: $115,600-153,100/yr.

The Salesforce Developer leads the design and development of custom solutions for CSE’s internal and external clients. CSE solutions include application processing platforms for clean energy incentive programs. Our current solution architectures vary in some instances we use a front-end CMS system connected via web services to back-end Salesforce and document storage systems. Other solutions that we are developing include multi-tenant architecture within Salesforce and structured hierarchy and the use of Communities for public facing application enrollment, involving heavy LWC development. The Salesforce Developer reports to the Senior Manager of Salesforce Development and collaborates with a team of business analysts, and front-end and back-end developers (including external development partners) to design, develop, deploy, and maintain solutions.
