Benjamin Gerber is president and CEO of Midwest Renewable Energy Tracking System, Inc. (M-RETS), a nonprofit that developed an industry-leading environmental attribute registry for renewable energy certificates. An experienced energy regulatory attorney, Ben is a leader in environmental commodities, utility sector innovation and data-driven economy-wide decarbonization. He serves on the board of directors of the Clean Energy Buyers Alliance and the Minnesota Conservative Energy Forum and regularly speaks and writes about growing environmental attribute markets globally.
