Jamez Staples

Jamez Staples is the CEO and founder of Renewable Energy Partners (REP), a solar energy development firm he has led for over a decade. REP delivers high-impact clean energy projects in partnership with schools, nonprofits, churches, government agencies and Fortune 500 companies. Through this work, Jamez advances climate solutions while expanding access to the green economy for historically underserved communities. He also leads Northgate Development, a real estate firm focused on inclusive, community-centered investment. Its flagship initiative, the Regional Apprenticeship Training Center in North Minneapolis, is a state-of-the-art education facility preparing youth and adults for trade and renewable energy careers.
