Drive Clean Rebate Program - New York

CSE is the statewide administrator for the Drive Clean Rebate Program in New York that supports greenhouse gas reduction goals through greater use of clean vehicles.

The initiative aims to increase adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) by consumers and fleet managers in New York State. It provides point-of-sale rebates up to $2,000 for more than 60 models of new plug-in hybrid electric cars and all-electric cars. Residents, businesses and government entities are eligible.

In addition to processing rebate applications, CSE provides outreach and education to help dealerships and manufacturers participate in the initiative. The initiative is managed by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).
