Drive Clean Rebate Program - New York

CSE is the statewide administrator for the Drive Clean Rebate Program in New York that supports greenhouse gas reduction goals through greater use of electric vehicles (EVs).

The initiative aims to increase EV adoption by consumers and fleet managers throughout the state. It provides point-of-sale rebates up to $2,000 for more than 60 models of qualifying new battery electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. Residents, businesses and government entities are eligible.

In addition to processing rebate applications, CSE provides outreach and education to help dealerships and manufacturers participate in the initiative. The initiative is managed by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).
