Driving Clean Assistance Program

Center for Sustainable Energy is partnering with Community Housing Development Corporation, Foundation of California Community Colleges and Grid Alternatives to implement California’s Driving Clean Assistance Program.

The statewide program offers incentives, financial guidance and informational resources to help people in low-income and underserved communities buy new and used electric vehicles. It also provides program participants access to diagnostic and repair assistance for major EV battery issues.

Funded by the California Air Resources Board, the program aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect consumers from unfair lending practices.
