CSE is partnering with the National Automobile Dealers Association to provide an electric vehicle (EV) sales training certification program to help dealerships across the country better engage and educate car shoppers about EVs.
The program’s goal is to support the staff at new-car franchised dealerships who are in a prime position to serve as consumer advisors and drive the success of the EV market. The online, interactive certification program offers unbiased, brand-agnostic information, complementing auto manufacturers’ model-specific training.
As part of EV incentive programs, CSE has collaborated with car dealer associations in California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Oregon to provide EV training and resources. These efforts have confirmed that presenting consumers with reliable information helps get them comfortable and confident in their first EV purchase and is crucial to mass-market EV adoption.
