Utility Customer Education Program

Formed by CSE, the Utility Customer Education Program provided consumer information on plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) charging programs and special electricity rates offered by local utilities in California.

The program helped participants in the Clean Vehicle Rebate Project learn about utility-specific benefits. The initiative focused on the importance of notifying the local utility upon purchasing a PEV, special utility rates available for PEV owners, various metering options and other programs or incentives offered by participating utilities.
