What are the most exciting EV success stories of the new year?

Asked that question by “The Fully Charged” podcast, Vartan Badalian, CSE’s director of U.S. Transportation Programs, noted two key developments:

  • On the vehicle side, consumers will find more options with operating capacities beyond 300 miles priced in the $30,000-$40,000 range. And that’s before federal, state or utility incentives.
  • On the charging side, Tesla's opening of its charging standard to other vehicles  provides a tremendous opportunity for EV drivers that could spur adoption.

In addition, Badalian outlined how CSE's ElectrifiQ national EV training program is helping dealerships increase their EV knowledge and sales.

Badalian sat down with podcast host Prem Patel to talk about the future for EVs, charging and EV education for dealerships.

 Among the topics they tackle:

  • What EV misconceptions persist?
  • When will EV prices fall further?
  • Are consumers finding public charging reliable?
  • How can dealerships learn more about selling EVs?
