Case Study: Making EV Charging More Accessible in California

CALeVIP Case Study

As more electric vehicles hit the road, there will be a growing need for publicly available EV charging. Deploying this charging infrastructure in the most targeted, cost-effective way requires a data-driven approach and experience.

CSE developed the process and platform for implementing the California Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Project (CALeVIP), an initiative of the California Energy Commission. CSE has made $186 million in state funding and $36 million in partner funding available for EV charging across 36 counties, customizing projects to local needs.

Learn more about how CSE has efficiently, equitably and transparently implemented California’s pioneering effort to expand publicly available EV charging infrastructure.
