Massachusetts Offers Rebates for Electric Vehicles is a program funded by the Mass. Department of Energy Resources (DOER) in order to promote the production and use of zero-emission vehicles, including battery electric vehicles (BEVs), fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs), and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). Since June 2014, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts has incentivized the purchase of over 16,500 electric vehicles. Currently, residents can apply to receive up to $2,500 on the purchase or lease of eligible vehicles. Center for Sustainable Energy administers the MOR-EV program on behalf of the Mass. DOER. Learn more about MOR-EV here.
Note: MOR-EV program statistics capture electric vehicles that qualify through the program. These statistics do not capture ineligible models or owners who did not take advantage of the program.
